A Football Association of Wales Disciplinary Panel met on Thursday, 5th January 2017 to consider the following cases

Appeal

The appeal by the Vale of Glamorgan Association Football League against a decision of the South Wales Football Association to allow the registration of a junior player for Sully Sports FC.

Descision

The appeal was dismissed and the junior player was allowed to register for Sully Sports FC.

Charge

Richard Hughes - of Cefn Albion FC - was charged pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged act of violence and/or improper conduct towards the match referee during the Welsh National League, Reserves Division match between Overton Recreational v Cefn Albion played on 26 November 2016. 

Descision

The charge was found proven and Richard Hughes received a suspension up to and including 31st May 2017 along with a fine of £150.00.

Charge

Mike Harris - of TNS FC - was charged pursuant to the Football Association of Wales’ Regulations on the Use of Social Media with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for the alleged posting of a comment which is foul and/or offensive, and/or is likely to bring the Association or game of Association Football into disrepute.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Mike Harris was fined £100.00.

Charge

Gary Dewhurst - of Gap Connah's Quay FC - was charged pursuant to the Football Association of Wales’ Regulations on the Use of Social Media, with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for the alleged posting of a comment which is likely to bring the Association and/or the game of Association Football into disrepute.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Gary Dewhurst was fined £75.00.

Charge

Bridgend Street FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13, for the alleged failure of its supporter(s) to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or failure to refrain from violence, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour or conduct whilst attending the Welsh Football League, Youth Division East match, Bridgend Street Youth v Caerau Ely Youth played on 27 November 2016.  

Descision

The charge was found proven and Bridgend Street FC were warned as to the Club's supporters future conduct.

A Football Association of Wales Disciplinary Panel met on Wednesday, 21st December 2016 to consider the following cases

Charge

Pursuant to the ‘Football Association of Wales’ Non-discrimination Regulations’, Brandon Burrows – of Wrexham AFC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13, for his alleged use of language which is offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive in nature and/or which was contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Brandon Burrows received 10 match suspension; 6 matches of which shall be suspended up to and including 31st December 2017. Brandon Burrows also received a fine of £500.00; £400.00 of which shall remain suspended up to and including 31st December 2017.

Charge

Llangefni Town FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.15, in that its supporter(s) allegedly ignited or otherwise set off a firework, flare, smoke bomb or other pyrotechnic device during the first half of the JD Welsh Cup, Round Two match, Llangefni Town v Caernarfon Town played on 5 November 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Llangefni Town FC were fined £100.00; £100.00 of which shall remain suspended up to and including 31st December 2017.

Charge

Llangefni Town FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.15, in that its supporter(s) allegedly ignited or otherwise set off a firework, flare, smoke bomb or other pyrotechnic device during the second half of the JD Welsh Cup, Round Two match, Llangefni Town v Caernarfon Town played on 5 November 2016.

Tom Evans – of Cefn Albion FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged improper and/or aggressive conduct and/or alleged use of foul and/or offensive and/or abusive and/or insulting language during the Welsh National League, Reserves Division match between Overton Recreational Reserves and Cefn Albion Reserves on 26 November 2016.

The charge was found proven and Tom Evans received a 3 match suspension along with a fine of £120.00.

Ashley Williams – of Carmarthen Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged aggressive and/or improper conduct during the Welsh Premier Development League match between Carmarthen Town Youth and Aberystwyth Town Youth on 28 November 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Ashley Williams received a 2 match suspension along with a fine of £50.00.

Ashley Williams – of Carmarthen Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged aggressive and/or abusive and/or improper conduct following the conclusion of the Welsh Premier Development League match between Carmarthen Town Youth and Aberystwyth Town Youth on 28 November 2016.

The charge was found proven and Ashley Williams received a 2 match touchline suspension along with a fine of £50.00.

Bradley Arnold – of Carmarthen Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of FAW Rule 70 in that he played for Carmarthen Town Youth against Port Talbot Town Youth in the Welsh Premier Development League on 7 November 2016 without being duly registered.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Bradley Arnold received a 1 match suspension along with a fine of £60.00.

Carmarthen Town FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of FAW Rule 70 in that the club played Bradley Arnold in the match between Port Talbot Town Youth and Carmarthen Town Youth in the Welsh Premier Development League on 7 November 2016 without being duly registered.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Carmarthen Town FC received a fine of £150.00.

Carmarthen Town FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Welsh Premier Development League Rule 22/23 in that the club played an ineligible player, Mr Bradley Arnold, in the match between Port Talbot Town Youth and Carmarthen Town Youth in the Welsh Premier Development League on 7 November 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Carmarthen Town FC had 3 points deducted from their Welsh Premier Development League Record.

Charge

William Evans – of Newtown FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Article 9, paragraph 1 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players in that he registered for Newtown FC in the Welsh Premier Development League on 20 October 2016 without firstly obtaining an International Transfer Certificate.    

Descision

The charge was found proven and William Evans received a 1 match suspension.

Charge

Newtown FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Welsh Premier Development League Rule 22/23 in that the club played an ineligible player, Mr William Evans, in the match between Newtown and Bangor City in the Welsh Premier Development League on 23 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Newtown FC had 3 points deducted from their Welsh Premier Development League Record. Newtown FC also received a fine of £50.00.

Charge

Newtown FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Welsh Premier Development League Rule 22/23 in that the club played an ineligible player, Mr William Evans, in the match between Newtown and Cefn Druids in the Welsh Premier Development League on 6 November 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Newtown FC had 3 points deducted from their Welsh Premier Development League Record. Newtown FC also received a fine of £50.00.

A Football Association of Wales Disciplinary Panel met on Tuesday, 13th December 2016 to consider the following cases

Charge

Niall McGuinness – of Rhyl FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for the alleged use of foul and/or offensive and/or abusive and/or insulting language towards the match referee during the Welsh Premier League match between Bangor and Rhyl on 22 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Niall McGuinness received 1 match touchline suspension along with a fine of £75.00.

Charge

Niall McGuinness – of Rhyl FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for the alleged improper conduct in that he allegedly returned to the field of play at the conclusion of the match after being sent from the dugout by the match referee in the Welsh Premier League match between Bangor and Rhyl on 22 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Niall McGuinness was warned as to his future conduct along with a fine of £50.00.

Charge

Pursuant to clause 6(h) of the current ‘Disciplinary Procedures Concerning Field Offences and the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, Ben Jones – of Amlwch Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged aggressive conduct and/or language towards the match referee resulting in his dismissal in the Welsh Alliance League, Division Two match between Felinheli and Amlwch Town played on 19 November 2016.   

Descision

Ben Jones was found guilty of technical assault and given a 6 match suspension along with a fine of £100.00.

Charge

Pursuant to the ‘Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials’, Leslie Morris – of Cefn Albion FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged act of violence and/or improper conduct towards the match referee during the Welsh National League, Reserves Division match, Overton Recreational v Cefn Albion played on 26 November 2016.

The charge against Leslie Morris was found not proven.

Charge

Pursuant to the Football Association of Wales’ Regulations on the Use of Social Media, Mike Jones – of Rhyl FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for the alleged posting of a comment which is foul and/or offensive and/or insulting and/or is likely to bring the Association or game of Association Football into disrepute.

Charge

Mateo Goddard – of Chepstow Garden City Junior FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Article 9 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players in that he registered for Sedbury United FC in the North Gloucestershire Association Football League on 16 August 2016 without firstly obtaining an International Transfer Certificate.

The charge was found proven and Mateo Goddard received a 1 match suspension.

Ryan Betteney – of Ton Pentre FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged improper conduct resulting in his dismissal from the technical area during the FAW Youth Cup, Round Two match between Pen Y Bont Youth and Ton Pentre Youth on 30 October 2016.

The charge was found proven and Ryan Betteney received a 1 match touchline suspension along with a fine of £60.00.

Ryan Betteney – of Ton Pentre FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged improper conduct in that he returned to the dugout following his removal by the match referee during the FAW Youth Cup, Round Two match between Pen Y Bont Youth and Ton Pentre Youth on 30 October 2016.

Mark Mears – of Risca United FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged aggressive and/or improper conduct and/or the use of offensive and/or abusive and/or insulting language towards the match referee after having been sent off during the Welsh Football League, Division One match between Risca United and Haverfordwest County on 19 November 2016.

The charge was found proven and Mark Mears received a 3 match suspension along with a fine of £150.00.

Charge

Newport City FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of FAW Rule 79.4 in that the Club, on 8th October 2016, gave notice to approach a player or players registered with Pontypridd Town FC in contravention of FAW Rule 79.4. 

Descision

The charge was found proven and Newport City FC were warned as to their future conduct as well as receiving a fine of £75.00.

Charge

Newport City FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of FAW Rule 79.5 in that the Club, on 2nd November 2016, gave a second notice of approach to Pontypridd Town FC in respect of player James Hill during the same Playing Season in contravention of FAW Rule 79.5.

The charge was found proven and Newport City FC were warned as to their future conduct as well as receiving a fine of £75.00.

Nicholas Grist – of Taffs Well FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged use of offensive and/or abusive and/or insulting language towards the match referee after having been sent off at the conclusion of the Welsh Football League, Youth Division East match between Bridgend Street Youth and Taffs Well Youth on 6 November 2016.

The charge was found proven and Nicholas Grist received a 2 match suspension along with a fine of £40.00.

Owen Cook - of Cwmbran Celtic FC - was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged violent conduct towards an opposition player after have been sent off, during the Welsh Football League Division One match between Cwmbran Celtic and Monmouth Town on 15 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Owen Cook received a 2 match suspension along with a fine of £225.00.

Appeal

A Claim of Wrongful Dismissal for the sending-off of Lee Surman of Carmarthen Town FC, for serious foul play (S1) whilst participating in the Welsh Premier League match, Bangor City FC v Carmarthen Town FC played on 26th November 2016.

Descision

The Claim was rejected and Lee Surman shall serve the standard punishment.

Charge

Jacob Rees of - Bridgend Street FC - was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged use of foul and/or offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive language after having been sent off, during the Welsh Football League, Reserves Division Central match, Bridgend Street Reserves v Abergavenny Town Reserves played on 5 November 2016.

The charge was found proven and Jacob Rees received a 3 match suspension along with a fine of £120.00.

Tom McMahon - of Panteg AFC - was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged improper conduct, during the Welsh Football League, Division Three match, Panteg v Llantwit Major played on 22 October 2016.

Sam Ashworth – of Caernarfon Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9. for his alleged language of an offensive or insulting or abusive nature and/or which was contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory pursuant to the FAW’s Non-Discrimination Regulations, following the conclusion of the Welsh Alliance League Reserve Division match, Caernarfon Town v Llanberis played on 19th October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Sam Ashworth received a 10 match suspension; 5 of which will remain suspended if he is found proven of a similar offence up to and including 31st May 2018. He also received a fine of £500.00; £250.00 of which shall remain suspended and be payable should he be found proven of a similar offence up to and including 31st May 2018.

Gyorgy Szabo – of Prestatyn Sports FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged language of an offensive or insulting or abusive nature and/or which was contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory pursuant to the FAW’s Non-Discrimination Regulations, during the Welsh Alliance League Division Two match, Llanerchymedd v Prestatyn Sports played on 15th October 2016.

The charge was found proven and Gyorgy Szabo received a 10 match suspension along with a fine of £500.00.

Prestatyn Sports FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13, for the alleged failure of its supporter(s) to refrain from language which was abusive, obscene or provocative and/or which was contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory pursuant to the FAW’s Non-Discrimination during the Welsh Alliance League Division Two match, Llanerchymedd v Prestatyn Sports played on 15th October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Prestatyn Sports FC received a fine of £750.00; £500.00 of which shall remain suspended and be payable should the Club be found proven of a similar offence up to and including 31st May 2018.

A Football Association of Wales Disciplinary Panel met on Tuesday, 15th November 2016 to consider the following cases

Appeal

The appeal by Cwm Rhondda FC – on behalf of Stephen Martin – against a decision of the South Wales Football Association who found the charge proven of alleged serious misconduct in accordance with FAW Rule 38.1.9 and the SWFA Rule 9 for using insulting, abusive, offensive and/or threatening language causing the game Cwm Rhondda v Tonypandy Albion, in the Rhondda & District League, to be abandoned on 20th August 2016, and for the Association to impose an all aspects of Association Football suspension for 15 matches with a fine of £150.00; £50.00 of which is to be suspended until 31st May 2017, pending the Player’s future good conduct, and to pay £5 part costs to the Associations commission.

The appeal was dismissed with the whole decision imposed by the South Wales Football Association to stand.

John Rees – of Briton Ferry Llansawel FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged improper conduct and/or comment and/or alleged use of foul or abusive language towards the assistant referee during the Welsh Football League Division West match between Briton Ferry Llansawel v Llanelli Town on 11 October 2016.

The charge was found proven and John Rees was warned as to his future conduct.

Pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, Christopher Erasmus – of Goytre AFC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged aggressive conduct and/or offensive and/or abusive and/or threatening language towards the match referee during the Welsh Football League, Reserves Division East match between Chepstow Town Reserves and Goytre Reserves on 29 October 2016.

The charge was found proven and Christopher Erasmus received 10 match suspension along with a fine of £150.00.

Michael Gadie – of Llay Miners Welfare FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged improper conduct during the Welsh National League, Premier Division match, Llay Miners Welfare v Corwen played on 29 October 2016.

The charge was found proven and Michael Gadie received a £60.00 fine.

The charge was found proven and Gareth Roberts received a 4 match suspension along with a fine of £180.00.

Pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, the charge against Nathan Williams – of Holywell Town Football Club - with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged misconduct and/or foul and/or abusive language towards the match referee after having been sent off during the Welsh National League, Reserves Division match between Holywell Town Reserves and Saltney Town Reserves played on 14 October 2016.

The charge was found proven and Nathan Williams received a 6 match suspension along with a fine of £120.00.

Charge

Rhyl FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13 for the alleged failure of its players to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or failure to refrain from violence, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language whilst taking part in the Welsh Premier League match between Aberystwyth v Rhyl on 14 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Rhyl FC received a fine of £400.00. Rhyl FC were also ordered to pay a £200.00 fine which was suspended from the 2015/16 season.

Aberystwyth Town FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13 for the alleged failure of its players to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or failure to refrain from violence, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language whilst taking part in the Welsh Premier League match between Aberystwyth v Rhyl on 14 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Aberystwyth Town FC received a fine of £400.00.

Charge

Liam Rimmer – of Montgomery Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, for the alleged breach of FAW Rule 70 in that he participated in a match for Montgomery Town against Tywyn Bryncrug whilst being registered for Newtown Rovers.

The charge was found proven and Liam Rimmer received a 1 match suspension along with a fine of £90.00.

Charge

Liam Evans – of Port Talbot Town FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, for the alleged breach of Rule 5 (d) of the FAW Youth Cup Rules in that he played for Port Talbot Town Youth against Llanelli Town Youth in the FAW Youth Cup, Round One match on 2 October 2016 in breach of the Rule.

The charge was found proven and Liam Evans received a 1 match suspension along with a fine of £60.00.

The appeal by Kevin Payne - of Cwmbran Celtic Football Club - against the decision of a FAW Disciplinary Panel held on 19th September 2016, who found the charge against Kevin Payne proven, pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for his alleged aggressive conduct and/or offensive language towards the match referee at the conclusion of the friendly match between Croesyceiliog v Cwmbran Celtic played on 17th August 2016.

Descision

The appeal was dismissed and the charge found proven. Kevin Payne received 60 day match suspension along with a fine of £75.00.

The charge was found proven and Jack Newell received 1 match suspension along with a fine of £50.00.

Mohammed Jafar of K2 Futsal Club was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for his alleged breach of Annexe 7 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players in that he participated in the FAW Futsal League match between K2 and Cardiff Met University on 25 September 2016 without first obtaining an International Futsal Transfer Certificate.

The charge was found proven and Mohammed Jafar received a 1 match suspension along with a fine of £90.00.

Shane Davies of Cambrian & Clydach BGC was charged pursuant to clause 6(h) of the current ‘Disciplinary Procedures Concerning Field Offences', with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for an alleged act of violence towards an opposition player tantamount to a serious breach of the Laws of the Game during the JD Welsh Cup match between Cambrian & Clydach BGC v Trefelin BGC on 01 October 2016.

Descision

The charge was found proven and Shane Davies received a 2 match suspension along with a fine of £225.00.

Pursuant to the Football Association of Wales’ Regulations on the Use of Social Media, FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay were charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, in that the club allegedly posted on its Twitter account a comment or comments that is abusive, threatening, derogatory or of a personal nature which is likely to cause offence at any time.

The charge was found proven and FC Nomads of Connah's Quay were fined £150.00.

Charge

Pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, Kamil Bancer – of Penycae FC - was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged aggressive conduct and/or offensive and/or abusive and/or threatening language towards the match referee whilst on the field of play during the Welsh National League (Reserves Division) match between Castell Alun Reserves and Penycae Reserves played on 24 September 2016.

The charge was found proven and Kamil Bancer received a 4 month suspension from all football related activity along with a fine of £200.00.

Pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, Declan O’Connor – of Pentraeth FC - was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged aggressive conduct and/or offensive and/or abusive and/or threatening language towards the match referee whilst on the field of play during the Welsh Alliance League Division Two match between Llanllyfni and Pentraeth played on 24 September 2016.

The charge was found proven and Declan O'Connor received a 6 month suspension from all football related activity along with a fine of £300.00.

Llay Miners Welfare FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, in that the club allegedly failed to ensure that the terms and conditions of the Match Suspension imposed on Mr Taylor were complied with during the Welsh National League, Premier Division match between Llay Miners Welfare and FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay played on 17 September 2016.

The charge was found proven and Llay Miners Welfare FC were fined £120.00.

Jonathon Taylor – of Llay Miners Welfare FC – was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, in that he allegedly attended on the area immediately surrounding the field of play on 17 September 2016, in breach of the terms and conditions of the MATCH SUSPENSION imposed on him as and from 11 September 2016 in accordance with the 'Disciplinary Procedures Concerning Field Offences'.

Llantwit Major FC was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for allegedly posting on the club’s official Twitter account, a post which is foul and/or obscene and/or which is likely to bring the game of Association Football or the Association into disrepute.

The charge was found proven and Llantwit Major FC were fined £500.00; £200.00 of which shall remain suspended until the completion of the 2016/2017 season.

The appeal by Union Rangers Football Club against the decision of the Swansea Senior Football League and the West Wales Football Association who found the Club guilty of refusing to play the League’s Reserve Division 4 match, Union Rangers v Cwm Albion Colts at Bonymaen Park on 16th January 2016 and consequently awarded three points to Cwm Albion Colts, fined the Club £25. The Club was also fined £20 for failure to attend the match case meeting.

The appeal by STM Sports OB FC against a decision of the South Wales Football Association to find the charge of alleged misconduct proven, for allowing Lee Palfrey to be involved with Association Football for the Club in the fixtures played on 31st October 2015, 20th February 2016, 5th March 2016, 16th April 2016, 5th May 2016, 14th May 2016 and 26th May 2016, whilst having an outstanding debt to the Association.

The Appeal was dismissed with the decision from the South Wales Football Association to stand. STM Sports OB FC were fined £75.00 and warned as to their future conduct.

Appeal

The appeal by STM Sports OB FC, on behalf of Lee Palfrey, against a decision of the South Wales Football Association to find the charge of alleged misconduct in accordance with FAW Rule 38.1.9 and the Association Rule 9 proven, ‘acting in a manner likely to bring the game into disrepute’ for being involved with Association Football whilst having an outstanding debt to the Association.

The appeal was dismissed with the decision from the South Wales Football Association to stand. Lee Palfrey received a 5 match suspension, fined of £50.00 and warned as to his future conduct.

Appeal

The appeal by the Port Talbot & District Football League against a decision of the South Wales Football Association, to conditionally uphold an appeal received by Goytre United Football Club and allow their under 13 team entry into the Bridgend League under 13 division, provided they maintain a presence in the PTDFL’s under 14 division. If the team playing in the PTDFL’s under 14 division ceased their membership, the permission to play in the Bridgend League under 13 division would be withdrawn with immediate effect.

The appeal was upheld with Goytre United FC not allowed to enter a team into the Bridgend League and must compete in the Port Talbot & District Football League's under 14's division.

Levi Jones was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for the alleged breach of Article 9, para. 1 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players in that he registered for AFC Graig Juniors in the Taff Ely Rumney Valley League on 3rd September 2015 without firstly obtaining an International Transfer Certificate.

Port Talbot Town FC was charged pursuant to Clause 7 of the 2015/2016 Disciplinary Procedures Concerning Field Offences, with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, for the alleged violation by its players of the Laws of the Game which resulted in the Club’s accumulation of a total of 358 Penalty Points during the 2015/2016 season.
