Boys U15 beat Switzerland in mini-tournament.

The Wales U15 Boys team has beaten Switzerland 4-2 tonight (Wednesday).

Wales U15s got off to the best possible start this evening in Tubize in the second game of the Tri Nations Tournament.

It took only 3 mins for Wales to take the lead after an excellent run by Ben Woodburn into the penalty area who unselfishly and skilfully played in Keiran Evans who slotted confidently past Hun Lars in the Switzerland goal.

It was Woodburn again who unlocked the Swiss defence 3 minutes later, this time for Wales number 9 Tyler Roberts who finished with calmness and composure to double the Welsh lead.

Two minutes later Switzerland were on the score sheet after an unfortunate clearance deflected in favour of Switzerland's Asllani Mersim to make the score 2-1. (8 Minutes)

Wales heads didn't drop as Tyler Roberts cleverly combined with Liam Cullen who's shot from a narrow angle was saved by the advancing Swiss keeper.

Midway through the first half the talented Swiss side drew level. Following an excellent passing sequence Switzerland's De Oliveiner Joni turned and unleashed an unstoppable strike from 25 yards to level the score.

On 27 mins Aaron Jones made a great save from Joni again who found space in the box only for the Welsh keeper to prevent the Swiss from taking the lead.

Six minutes later Switzerland pressed again, this time Wales' Daniel Jefferies made a fantastic sliding tackle to prevent what would have been a one on one, for the sides to share the first half 2-2.

Wales started the second half just like the first with some bright interplay down the left side before finding Liam Cullen in the box who unleashed an unstoppable strike to give the lead back to Wales.

More was to follow from the attacking Welsh side and Roberts & Evans linked up well down the left after some clever work by Robbie Burton, Evans' cross found Roberts who took a first time volley from 10 yards out which grazed the crossbar.

The young Welsh side continued to control the game and scored their fourth goal through the attacking full back Cole DaSilva. The right back broke forward with pace and skill to the by-line from deep beating three Swiss defenders and as his cross came back to him the Chelsea debutant finished in style.

Head Coach Osian Roberts commented "So many aspects of the performance pleased me tonight. There was plenty of creativity and imagination going forward and in general we improved defensively. We controlled the game for good periods against a very talented side and at this stage of the year I am very pleased with them."
