Having suffered defeat against Greece on Monday, Wales U17 got the revenge that they were looking for in the second international friendly match between the teams at Nantporth Stadium.

Wales won the match courtesy of a 9th minute goal scored by Liam Rhys Edwards.

The Dragons nearly improved the score line just before half-time through a free kick but Wales were denied by the crossbar.

Matthew Blake also came close 10 minutes from time with a curling free kick that went painstakingly over the Greek crossbar.
