Wales U21 squad named for Euro qualifiers

Robert Page has named an 18-man squad as Wales Under-21s prepare to kick off their European Championship qualifying campaign next month.

Wales face a double header in Group 8 as they face Switzerland in Biel on 1 September before taking on Portugal in Chaves four days later.

Page has named Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson in his squad, while George Thomas – who recently completed a move to Leicester City – is also included.

Thomas featured for Wales Under-20s at the Toulon Tournament back in June, scoring twice as he was named in the Team of the Tournament alongside goalkeeper Luke Pilling.
