Cefn Albion won the FAW Trophy for the first time after a 4-0 win over Pontardawe Town in Aberystwyth.
The Welsh National League (Wrexham Area) side raced out of the blocks, scoring twice within the opening ten minutes to take control of the match.
Albion were in front in the fourth minute. Pontardawe failed to clear a corner, and the ball was worked back to Nathan Williams to loop a header into the net.
Five minutes later it was two, Connor Kendrick following up on a shot that rebounded off the post to prod home and double Cefn's lead.
Kien Morris made it three just before the half hour, perfectly placed on the edge of the box to pick up a loose ball and sidefoot it back towards goal and in.
Albion had to wait until second half stoppage time for the fourth and final goal, but it was well worth the wait as Richie Foulkes picked up the ball and lashed a shot forward from just inside his own half that bounced over keeper Steven Reeves and into the net.
That sealed a memorable day for Albion, who are the sixth team from north Wales to win the Trophy in the last seven seasons.
