The Football Association of Wales is sad to learn of the passing of Barrie Hole, who was capped 30 times for Wales.
He made his debut for Wales against Northern Ireland in 1963 with his final appearance being made in a 1971 match with Romania.
Hole was Welsh Cup winner with Cardiff City on two occasions - in 1964 and 1965 - a club with which he made 211 appearances scoring 16 goals.
The midfielder also played for Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Swansea City, where he retired in 1972.
The thoughts of everyone connected to the Football Association of Wales are with Barrie Hole's family and friends at this sad time.
