Cymru under 21 manager Paul Bodin has named a 20-man squad for their UEFA U21 EURO 2021 qualifying round to face Bosnia & Herzegovina in Wrexham.
#U21EURO Qualifying Round
Cymru v Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Tuesday 19 November 16:00
- Racecourse, Wrexham
- Tickets available here
Midfielder Terry Taylor will be looking for his first Cymru U21 cap after missing the start of the campaign through injury, while Regan Poole and Dylan Levitt have taken the step up to the senior squad yet again. Bodin has also selected several familiar faces to the squad including Cameron Coxe, Jack Evans and Brennan Johnson.
Wrexham striker Mark Harris has also been selected, who will look to impress the Racecourse crowd at his on-loan club. There is also JD Cymru Premier representation with goalkeeper George Ratcliffe, on loan with Barry Town United from Cardiff City.
The match will be Cymru’s fourth game in the U21 EURO 2021 qualifying campaign. Bodin's side started strongly with an impressive 1-0 win against Belgium but defeats against Germany and Moldova leave Cymru in a wide-open group.
Cymru U21s will face Bosnia & Herzegovina U21s on Tuesday 19 November (16:00) at the Racecourse in Wrexham. Tickets are available to purchase online.
We're in for a stern test, and we will have to be at our best to get a result. Physically, some of players aren't fully developed yet. That's an important thing to mention. A few of the squad could still play in the U19's, but we move them up because they are doing well. The older boys do have that slight edge and so we have to compete.
