Cymru to play Belarus at neutral venue

Cymru will soon return to European Qualifiers action as they bid to make it to the FIFA World Cup and will play Belarus on Sunday, 5 September.

Due to teams from the United Kingdom and the European Union being unable to enter Belarus by air due to sanctions against their government, UEFA has informed the FAW that the match will take place at a neutral venue.

The fixture will be played at the Central Stadium in Kazan, Russia with UEFA also confirming that as the match is being played on neutral ground it must take place behind closed doors.

Cymru will host Estonia at Cardiff City Stadium three days later on Wednesday, 8 September.
