Cymru squads confirmed for WU17 & WU19 training camps

The Cymru WU19 and WU17 teams will be taking part in training camps at Colliers Park, Wrexham this month ahead of the restart of UEFA competitions in the 2021/22 season.

Cymru Training Camps

WU19: Monday 10 - Friday 14 May

WU17: Monday 25 - Friday 28 May

Colliers Park, Wrexham

Former Cymru international Loren Dykes will lead both camps, assisted by Nicola Anderson and Jen Herst for the WU19s and Nia Davies and Pete Wilson for the WU17s.

The WU19 camp takes place from Monday 10 until Friday 14 May. The 28 player squad includes Cymru international Maria Francis-Jones along with Bethan Roberts and Bethan McGowan, who have both been involved in senior team camps in the last twelve months.

The WU17 training camp will then meet up later this month (Monday 24 – Friday 28 May). The squad will feature several players that were due to take part in the 2019/20 WU17 EURO Elite Round prior to the tournament being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Across both camps, 21 players have been called up that are currently involved in the Welsh pyramid, which will have a key focus on youth player development as part of its restructure for the 2021/22 season.
