Elections for the Council of the FAW: South Wales Area Result
Last month FAW.Cymru reported the candidates who would stand in the Elections for the Council of the Football Association of Wales Ltd for the period 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2019 and the results of the South Wales Area election have been announced.
Today (28 July), the counting of the votes submitted by the Clubs to elect the 6 South Wales Area representatives on the FAW Council took place at a meeting of the Members held in Cardiff.
Of the 44 ballot papers submitted by the Clubs, 2 were declared void.
The results of the votes cast were as follows:
- CASEY, Michael (26 votes)
- COLE, David (29 votes)
- DAVIES, Jeffrey (27 votes)
- DYMOCK, Neil (30 votes)
- EDWARDS, Vivian (31 votes)
- FRY, Robert (18 votes)
- HARRIS, John (35 votes)
- JONES, Michael (34 votes)
- PHILLIPS, John (22 votes)
John Harris, Michael Jones, Vivian Edwards, Neil Dymock, David Cole and Jeffrey Davies are duly elected to represent the South Wales Area Clubs on the FAW Council for the period 01/08/2016 to 31/07/2019.
