Paul Bodin’s U21s will look for a repeat performance of their 1-0 win against Bosnia & Herzegovina in November when they welcome Moldova to the Racecourse, Wrexham. A superb strike from Liam Cullen ensured that Cymru enter the second half of the UEFA U21 EURO 2021 qualifying campaign in third place, one point behind group leaders Belgium.
The match against Moldova will be played on Friday 27 March (17:00 KO). Full ticket information will be released in due course.
Cymru U19s will be competing in the UEFA U19 EURO 2020 Elite Round which will be hosted in south Wales. Rob Edwards’ side will face Germany, Serbia and Austria with the tournament taking place in Leckwith Stadium, Cardiff and Rodney Parade, Newport. Edwards’ side played at the venues in the qualifying round in November and will hope for similar success after beating Poland and Kosovo and drawing against top seeds Russia.
The U19s will face Germany and Austria in Cardiff on Wednesday 25 March and Tuesday 31 March while their second match, against Serbia, will take place at Rodney Parade on Saturday 28 March. All matches will be 13:00 kick off. All matches will be free entry.
The FAW will be running a free tickets scheme to these matches for schools and junior clubs after a similar programme saw more than 2,500 children attend the November matches. Information regarding the scheme will be announced in due course.
