JD Welsh Cup Round 4 Draw

The draw for the Fourth Round of this season’s JD Welsh Cup was made this evening live on S4C’s Heno with singer Kizzy Crawford, who was a guest on the show, and presenter Mari Grug.

Lowest ranked side Penydarren BGC have been drawn away at Pontypridd Town in an all south-Wales clash.

Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, winners against Cefn Druids in Round 3, will welcome another JD Welsh Premier League side to the Recreation Ground in the form of Bangor City.

Caernarfon Town’s reward for defeating Barry Town United yesterday is a home tie against The New Saints.

Saints defeated Town at the Oval two seasons ago in front of the live Sgorio cameras, and another cracking tie is in prospect from the leaders of the Huws Gray Alliance and JD Welsh Premier League.

There are four more Huws Gray Alliance v JD Welsh Premier League ties: Flint host Newtown, Llandudno host Ruthin, Porthmadog travel to Connah’s Quay, and Airbus will play Carmarthen.

In the only all-JD Welsh Premier League clash, Cardiff Met will host Aberystwyth Town, who knocked out holders Bala in the previous round.
