The biggest changes to the men’s domestic game in Wales for a generation are taking shape ahead of the new season.
To reflect this change, the FAW is currently working on a number of projects in preparation for the action commencing on Friday, 16 August.
The central project is around developing a new brand identity for the leagues. This will consist of a new name for the JD Welsh Premier League, names for the Tier 2 leagues, and a new logo that sits across all three divisions.
The names, logo and also the sponsor of the Tier 2 leagues will all be unveiled in good time before the start of the new season.
The FAW is also currently developing a new website that will incorporate the Tier 1 and Tier 2 leagues, that will replace the existing JD Welsh Premier League website. There will also be social media channels to reflect the changes.
These changes all signify what is an exciting time for football in Wales.
Keep watching the existing JD Welsh Premier League social channels for more information in the coming weeks.
