At a recent Disciplinary Panel hearing, Mr Thomas Burridge of STM Sports was handed a match suspension for 182 days as and from 28th February 2020 following an alleged incident during STM's JD Cymru South clash with Llanelli Town on Friday 17 January.
Pursuant to the Regulations Governing Assaults on Match Officials, Mr Burridge was charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9, for his alleged aggressive conduct towards the match referee after being dismissed during the aforementioned match.
Mr Burridge elected not to attend the Disciplinary Panel hearing. Therefore, the Panel considered his written evidence and the verbal and written evidence of the match officials.
After carefully considering the written and verbal evidence submitted, the Panel decided that the charge against Mr Burridge be found proven of Assault in accordance with 2.4.3 and 3A of the Regulations.
Mr Burridge has until the close of business on 25th February to appeal the decision, as set out under FAW Rules 43.2.3 and 44.1.3.
