Together Stronger, produced by Trinity Mirror in partnership with the Football Association of Wales, is the official book celebrating this remarkable success story.
Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes images, it shines a unique light on the special bond between the players, who overcame adversity to shine on the international stage.
The book charts the team's journey as it unfolded – the inspiring performances, superb goals and famous victories – and how their brilliant supporters helped spur them on.
Together Stronger also features a foreword from Coleman, with the manager paying tribute to the fans and stating his belief that the team were capable of going all the way in France.
During our time in camp, while we were aware of the incredible support, I don’t think any of us really realised the true extent of the affect our success was having on the people back home.
“Every game was a highlight. However, the moment we walked out onto the pitch in Bordeaux to be greeted by a wall of red and to hear the anthem, sung like it had never been sung before, is a moment I will never forget,” writes Coleman as he recalls Wales' first match against Slovakia.
“In many people’s eyes we had exceeded expectations, but defeat was hard to take against Portugal. They were the better team on the night, but I am still convinced we were good enough to have won the tournament.”
Coleman's players returned home to a heroes' welcome in Cardiff, where tens of thousands of people lined the streets to salute their achievements.
“During our time in camp, while we were aware of the incredible support, I don’t think any of us really realised the true extent of the affect our success was having on the people back home,” Coleman writes.
“The impact only really dawned on everyone once we arrived back in Cardiff and saw the reception that was awaiting us. Since then I have been struck by the genuine warmth of all the well-wishers and everyone thanking us for the pleasure we gave them.”
