The two matches in Georgia will be a tough test for the side ahead of the second half of their European Championship qualification campaign.

Five of the players announced were involved in the recent training camp with Ryan Giggs’ senior side.  Attacking midfielders David Brooks and George Thomas will be unavailable having been called up to the senior squad’s match against Mexico while Isaac Davies and Nathan Broadhead have been called up after missing the 1-0 defeat against Bosnia-Herzegovina in March.

LUKE PILLING Tranmere Rovers, OWEN EVANS Wigan Athletic, CAMERON COXE Cardiff City, RHYS NORRINGTON DAVIES Sheffield United, REGAN POOLE Manchester United, NATHAN BROADHEAD Everton, ROBBIE BURTON Arsenal, CIAN HARRIES Swansea City, RABBI MATONDO Manchester City, JOSEFF MORRELL Bristol City, JACK EVANS Swansea City, MARK HARRIS Cardiff City, LIAM CULLEN Swansea City, JOE RODON Swansea City, AARON LEWIS Swansea City, ALEX BABOS Derby County, DANIEL JAMES Swansea City, ISAAC CHRISTIE DAVIES Chelsea

I wanted a physical as well as a technical test and Georgia are a good team for that.  We’ve got tough games coming up in the qualifiers and these two fixtures will help us.
